This is located in the middle of downtown Rota.
Aw, look at Peter and his sea weed! He carried that around all day in his pocket! He thought that it was the coolest thing in the world! Weird? Yes you can think that cause I thought the same thing! It smelled so bad, and then it gets better he took it on the ship with him and saved it for a month.
Yea, this is me! I wanted to go swimming so bad but did not have a bathing suit with me. It was sad. The water felt GREAT, and was BEAUTIFUL as you can see in the picture!
NOW FOR THE OTHER PICTURES OF STUFF THAT IS NOT
REALLY TALKED ABOUT BUT WILL SHOW YOU PICTURES.
This is just one of the little living areas out of many that they have in Egypt. They are overly populated and have very few vehicles.
Welcome to Israel! As you can see there are military convoys driving up and down the river to make sure that nothing happens and if it does then they can take appropriate actions!
Then you have Saudi Arabia, which is in the 60 degrees in the morning and about 130 degrees by noon! Wow don't you wish that you could go there! Also there are many things to see like Sand, Sand, and guess what? MORE SAND!!
Not my ideal of a deam Vacation!

Now to my favorite part, SWIM CALLS/STEEL BEACH PICNICS!!!!
Now we would not always get to do this but, if we were in a area that was safe were we could stop for a few hours we would get out and swim and have a picnic! When we first when on deployment we did this every Sunday. Once we went into the COMBAT Zone we did it maybe once every month.

We are having so much fun! You have to jump off the fantail (back of the ship)
Well I hope that you enjoyed the pictures and I will
Start posting new ones of our new life.
I just wanted you to get an ideal of what happens
on deployment!

Hey Faith, I don't know if you remember me from San Antonio (a long time ago). We used to hang out at Jessie's house all the time. I just wanted to say that it's nice seeing how well things are going for you. Also, my husband is in the Air Force, and is currently deployed to one of the places you mentioned in this blog (can't say where, practicing some opsec). Hope everything is going well for you. Congrats on the recent wedding, by the way!
Faith,
I LOVE all the pictures! Glad to see you are atleast getting to see the world!
Give Peter a hug from me! Keep us updated on the both of you!
Ms. Tracie
